I'm just curious as to who everybody is voting for as president. I would like to hear some thoughts on the upcoming election and which candidate y'all find more appealing.
I personally favor McCain but Obama seems like a capable leader as well.

Who are you voting for???Bigger question is which ones wife would you do first? I think Michelle Obama might like the strap on action more than is normal from a female. |

Who are you voting for???I don't really find either candidate all that inspiring. Who ever gets elected will have some major challenges ahead. IMO Obama is too liberal and McCain is too old. I'm inclined to vote McCain but first I'd like to find out who these two decide to choose as their VP. |

Who are you voting for???I like to say I would vote for none of the above. Like in the movie Brewsters Millions. But I think right now I would go with Obama. That could change when vps are added |

Who are you voting for???i've been a big obama supporter for a few years now, and am glad he got the nod over hilary. if you think he is too liberal try to imagine her... anyways, if i had to pick a republican to support (at least from the ones who ran this year) it would have been mccain anyways, despite his age. i can get behind him on quite a few things (despite how liberal i am), but the big sticking point for me is his stance on the iraq war. he has said the he is ok with spending another 100 years in iraq to get the job done...which is totally unacceptable. there is no clear mission over there any more, and we were lied to from the start about why we were over there. remember, "iraq has weapons of mass destruction". except no they don't. bush just wanted to make iraq a democracy because on his logic, one democracy in the middle east will make all countries in the middle east democracies, and democracies in the middle east are more likely to share their oil with us (hence my avatar btw). bush knew the american public would never go along with this shaky logic so he exploited one of the worst days in American history, 9-11-2001, to get the general public to go along with the war in iraq. there is a reason the rest of the world was leery of our invasion of iraq, especially once the UN peacekeepers didn't find any WMD's. we need to be focused on the REAL war in afghanistan and find BIN LADEN and bring him to justice (meaning execute the bastard). every second we spend in iraq costs the US taxpayers thousands of dollars (yes, the cost of the war is actually in the thousands per second mark. not being sarcastic at all). and for what? we have flushed our economy down the toilet for a war that hasn't made a markable difference in a country that is neither ally or neighbor. |
